On November 8, 2016, the inaugural meeting of the Zaoyang Invention Association was held in the academic lecture hall of the city's youth activity center. The agenda of the meeting was a complete success, and the Zaoyang Invention Association, which had been in preparation for half a year, was established. A total of 67 group members and 13 individual members were absorbed.

The Zaoyang Invention Association is one of the very few county-level units that took the lead in establishing an invention association in our province. The establishment of the Zaoyang Invention Association aims to mobilize the enthusiasm of invention and creation in the masses, guide and promote mass invention and creation activities, Publicize and popularize knowledge of inventions and creations, discover and support talents for inventions and creations, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of inventors, promote the transformation and implementation of inventions, and play the role of "bonds" and "bridges" in the close relationship between inventors and the government. "Strategy", "Innovation by All, Entrepreneurship by All", continuously enhance the creative vitality of the whole society, improve the ability of independent innovation, and strive to build a well-off society in an all-round way.

After the inaugural meeting, the invited Beijing Luhao Intellectual Property Agency gave a special lecture on patent declaration of the Invention Association, which benefited the corporate and individual members attending the meeting.
